Cameron and Susan Mills, Event Co-Chairs
Cameron Mills
Cameron Mills, a Kentucky na4ve experienced a Kentucky boy’s dream by following in his father’s footsteps and playing basketball at the University of Kentucky during some very good years. From 1994-1998, Cameron and his teammates played in three NCAA Final Fours, three NCAA Na4onal Championship games and won two NCAA National Championships, beating Syracuse in 1996 and Utah in 1998. During his time at UK Cameron became UK’s all-time leader in three-point percentage for a career at 47.4% as well as all-time leader in three-point percentage for a season at 53.2%, records he held for 25 years.
After his time at UK ended in 1998, Cameron started Cameron Mills Ministries, a non-profit from which he travels to share the difference Jesus Christ has made in his life. Besides ministry opportunities to share his faith, Cameron also speaks at leadership conferences, corporate
events, and schools where he loves to talk about the power of influence and the opportunity that we all have to make a difference in people’s lives with our deeds, not just our words.
When he’s not being honored with the opportunity to speak, Cameron works in the health care industry. Since 2004 he has been with LHC Group, a national home health and hospice company which serves patients in 38 states through over 700 locations. In 2019, Cameron was named LHC
Group’s Vice President and Chief Culture Officer, a roll he absolutely loves as he gets to love on people who are on the front lines of the health care industry, a group of people who were heroes long before the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.
Cameron lives in Lexington, KY with his wife, Susan, who is a children’s book author & illustrator currently working on a 26-book series about a world of dinosaurs who have special needs. The first six books of her series have been published and are available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, and Target. She is an avid painter, concert pianist and by far the most talented person in the household, apart from her son Alex, who is on the Autism Spectrum and is the inspiration behind her book series.
Honestly, Cameron is amazed she ever said “Yes” to him.
Susan Mills
Susan is a storyteller, advocate, and proud Kentucky native. After graduating from the University of Kentucky, she ventured to New York City and Los Angeles, where she worked both in front of and behind the camera in the Film & Television industry.
In 2010, she returned to her roots in Kentucky and embraced her most important role yet – motherhood. When her son was diagnosed with autism at age 2-1/2, Susan made a promise to be his voice and champion. That promise sparked the creation of My Autism Tribe, a nonprofit and podcast launched in 2018 to amplify the voices of families navigating autism, as well as those on the spectrum. Susan also sits on the board of Thursday’s Child – a nonprofit that provides support for special needs children awaiting adoption in Kentucky.
In 2023, Susan helped launch the women-led television talk show “Let Talk, Kentucky” on WTVQ as one of four journalists and influencers. The show, being the first of its kind for the market, gave women in Central Kentucky a platform to share their perspectives with the ABC audience.
Fueled by her continued passion for inclusivity, Susan created the multiple award-winning DinoSprout Educational Book Series. These engaging, brightly illustrated stories feature a lovable cast of dinosaur characters who explore big feelings, friendships, and differences. Designed as conversation starters for children, parents, and educators, the books highlight exceptionalities like anxiety, autism, food allergies, ADHD, vision loss, etc. – helping to create a world where all children feel valued and celebrated.

Mikki Eldridge, Executive Board Member
Mikki Eldridge is rooted and raised is Grayson, Kentucky, and a dedicated partner in the family-owned business, StorAll Self Storage, which operates locations across Kentucky and Ohio.
Mikki’s passion for the American Cancer Society is deeply personal. When her father was diagnosed with cancer, their family was fortunate enough to secure treatment at MD Anderson in Houston. Following his recovery, they made the generous decision to maintain the apartment and offer it to community members and those in their network who needed lodging while receiving critical care. This experience fuels her belief in accessible treatment for all, making her a staunch supporter of the Hope Lodge—a crucial resource she feels offers people in Eastern Kentucky the opportunity to receive necessary treatments in Lexington with one less step of stress and worry.
Guided by her father’s lesson to always give back, Mikki is honored to serve on the Cattle Baron’s Ball board. Though this is her first time volunteering for an event of this scale, she brings valuable skills in business management, networking, and creative ideas to the committee. When not working, Mikki cherishes time spent with her husband, Aaron Eldridge, and their twin boys, Asher and Smith, often enjoying the outdoors on their family farm or enjoying downtown Lexington.
